The Maset de la Costa is a 14th century farmhouse located in the Anoia Valley, a small paradise in the heart of Spain’s Cava Country, just 50 km from Barcelona.

 

No written records have been found, but local lore has it that this was originally a priorate that later used as a farmhouse. The architecture supports this theory as the building is surrounded by a wall offering protection to all those inside.

 

The main house has been carefully restored to provide modern comforts but we have respected the origins in order to retain its special charm. After working on this project for years, the Maset de la Costa now shines in the middle of the Vall de l'Anoia.

 

The Maset de la Costa is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, with many outdoor spaces where you can enjoy nature. The farmhouse consists of a common ground floor with living rooms, kitchen and toilets. The second floor has 4 spacious bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom, giving a sleeping capacity for 15 people. A reading room offers a space where you can read as well as exchange used books.
