At Maset de la Costa we carry out craft workshops, basket workshops (my favorite hobby!), personal growth workshops, nutrition and well-being. We collaborate with professionals from the region as well as international in order to find creativity and innovation.

Mònica Guilera, a Catalan basketmaker for more than 15 years, holds one and two day workshops in which she teaches both traditional and contemporary basketry techniques.

Starting from a traditional "cul de queixal català" base, we will make a piece that could be a bag or handbag with leather straps or a oval basket with wicker handle. We will learn basic basketry techniques such as hand weaving, swirl weaving, and flat finishing.
No previous experience necessary.

Estos cursos van dirigidos a personas con experiencia previa en cestería que quieran aprender y perfeccionar las técnicas de cestería tradicional catalana con mimbre y caña.
Son cursos de dos días que iremos convocando de manera regular y así poder ir avanzando en una formación continuada.
