Located in the Valls de l'Anoia, just 45 km from Barcelona, ​​El Maset de la Costa, surrounded by vineyards and centuries-old olive trees, is a rural accommodation that carries out oleotourism experiences and produces its own oil, L'Oli del Maset.

 

In 2009 we started the agricultural recovery project that aimed to transform us into a 100% ecological farm. It is for this reason that, from the beginning, the olive trees have been cared for following the guidelines of organic cultivation and finally, for 2 years, the process of definitive recognition has begun, enrolled in the CCPAE we produce virgin organic olive oil from Arbequina olives for the sale of proximity.

 

At Maset de la Costa, we create oleotourism experiences. We want to share the culture of the olive trees, the value of walking through the olive groves and enjoying nature. What can be closer to our culture than a good bread with oil and salt, enjoying one of the best views of the Valls de l'Anoia !!!.

We also organize oil tasting courses, a tour of the senses, where the nuances, smells and flavors remain etched in your memory and open up a new way of understanding and appreciating this product of the land that is extra virgin oil. The tasting consists of oils with different qualities, which will allow us to recognize the true essence of the oil and to be able to evaluate the quality of an extra virgin oil according to objective parameters of the official panel of oil tastings and its organoleptic properties.

 

During the olive harvest campaign, the Maset lives one of the most special moments of the year offering the experience of a harvest day. It is a very rewarding inclusive activity, where all family members can participate, feeling peasant for a day and living among the olive trees, the tradition and the culture of the olive. Learn to place the storms, comb the olive trees with your hands to fill the arbequina bags and all this accompanied by an oil tasting between the olive trees themselves.
